FREE Accident Protection Insurance

All Consumers members age 18 through 74 receive up to $1,000 of Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance through Minnesota Life Insurance Company. This valuable coverage is paid for by the credit union—at no cost to you! All you have to do is return the acceptance form when you receive your letter in the mail.

Marvin Okun Insurance

As a Consumers member, you can receive our group insurance discount through the Marvin Okun Insurance Agency. Discounts are available on both auto and homeowner’s insurance. For more information, call 269.349.9603 or visit their website.

Rx Optical

Consumers Credit Union members and families are eligible for savings on glasses, eye exams, and contact lenses with our Vision Advantage Program. Click here for details and save up to $100 or more on purchases of prescription glasses.


Looking to save money on your monthly cell phone bill? Sprint offers all credit union members a 10% discount. For more information, visit Sprint’s website. The discount application can be found here.


Through February 6, 2013, credit union members can save $120 per year ($10 per month for the first 12 months) on new DIRECTV service when activated through Invest in America. That discount can be extended to two years on Advanced Receiver Service with Auto Bill Pay. In addition, you can also get a $40 rebate on new DIRECTV service. Sam’s Club Partner Membership Program

As a Consumers Credit Union member, when you open or renew an annual membership with Sam’s Club, you will receive a Sam’s Club gift card. It’s like getting paid to shop!


Members receive special ticket pricing for every home game—2 adult tickets for just $25 or a family four-pack for $43! Simply show your debit card or other proof of membership at the K-Wings ticket office to receive your discount. And Slappy, the K-Wings mascot, will now be sporting the Consumers logo!

Wesustain Eco Mug

Consumers is proud to be the first lead partner with Western Michigan University on this sustainability initiative that presents all incoming students with a reusable mug. Use of the Eco Mug is incentivized through discounts to all on campus cafés. The Wesustain Eco Mug encourages less waste of disposable bottles. 4,000 mugs were given out in 2012.

Kalamazoo Institute of Arts Ansel Adams Exhibit

Consumers Credit Union is sponsoring the exhibit “Sight and Feeling: Photographs by Ansel Adams” at the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts. The display runs from January 26 through May 19. Consumers members receive $2 off the regular adult admission fee of $5 (you will be asked to provide proof of membership, i.e. a Consumers credit card, debit card, check, or statement). Children under 12 are free. Admission provides access to all gallery exhibitions. Don’t miss this opportunity to view the extraordinary work of the talented photographer.
