Take a break from your loan payments! Members with qualifying loans can skip one monthly loan payment per loan through the end of August. Use the cash to get caught up with bills or fund your summer vacation!
To initiate your skip, log into online banking and go to Additional Services and select “Skip a Pay” from the options listed below.
Not an online banking user? Give us a call at 800.991.2221 or stop in at any office and we can take care of the request for you.
If your loan is scheduled for automatic payments, please submit your skip request at least 7 days prior to the payment date. Skips will be processed approximately two weeks prior to your payment due date.

*Deferment of payment will extend the life of the loan and may cause an increase in the final payment amount. Offer only available on CONSUMER vehicle or RV loans currently financed with Consumers Credit Union with a maximum of six extensions allowed during the term of the loan, and no prior extensions within the last 3 months. Loans must be current and all accounts in good standing. If your auto loan has GAP insurance, please contact your insurance carrier to determine how a Skip-a-Payment may affect your coverage. Offer subject to approval and does not apply to the first payment of any loan. The fee to skip a payment is $35 for loan payments less than $500; the fee is $50 for loan payments greater than $500.
Get ready because our online banking has become even more convenient for you! Now you can see eligible deposits pending into your account. That means no more waiting until payday to see how much money you have earned and more time for you to plan a budget! Simply click on the account where you expect the deposit to be sent and the pending amount will show amongst your transactions. It’s that easy!
But wait, there’s more! Now you can also create a description for transfers between Consumers accounts. Simply make a transfer like before, but if you want to create a description select the Memo option and type away. This means you can keep a better record of your transfers and stay on top of your finances. No more guessing what that transfer was for or where it went!

When you’re going on a trip, you’ve got a pretty big checklist already… Sunscreen? Snacks for the road? Flight itinerary confirmed? Tell your credit union you’re leaving?
Was that last one on your list? A lot of people may not think about it, but if you don’t want to risk a kink in your travel plans, make sure to let your financial institution know you’re going out of town! Otherwise, it’s possible that a transaction coming in from another city or state might get marked as potential fraud and declined, and no one wants to deal with that in the middle of vacation!
So how do you make sure this doesn’t happen to you? Notify us of your travel plans! Here are a few ways to let us know:
- From our online banking website, go to the Secure Forms tab in online banking, select Travel Notification and complete the form.
- Call our Member Service Center at 800.991.2221 and tell a Representative about your travel plans.
- Just so you know, they’ll ask for your location and your dates of travel.
- Let us know when you’re at your local Consumers Credit Union office and we’ll make note in your account.
With simple, convenient options like that, a travel notice might just be the easiest thing to cross off of your vacation checklist!
