When your plans depend on the weather, you want the most up-to-date forecasts. Now you can get them from the WWMT Severe Weather Center when you stop in at Consumers or drive past our digital billboards in Kalamazoo and Holland.
Consumers Credit Union and WWMT are partnering to showcase the 7 and 3 Day Forecast in West Michigan to help members and our community plan their days. The WWMT Severe Weather Center and Consumers Credit Union will bring the 7 and 3 Day Forecast into the communities through News Channel 3’s updates and through Consumers Credit Union’s in-office video monitors and local community outdoor billboards.
“In just this past week alone, we’ve had freeze warnings, tornado warnings, and have gone from hot to cold in a matter of an hour,” said Kit Snyder, CEO, Consumers Credit Union. “We take assisting our members in their everyday lives very seriously. This is one more way we can help members plan for their days.”
“We are proud to partner with Consumers Credit Union to bring our Severe Weather Center updates through our 7
Day and 3 Day Forecast into new mediums in West Michigan,” said Jim Lutton, General Manager, WWMT. “Our meteorologists work tirelessly to bring accurate forecasting to West Michigan. We are proud to be able to bring forecasting to a greater number of people throughout the day.”
The 7 Day and 3 Day Forecast will be featured throughout the day on WWMT Newscasts, Consumers Credit Union In-Office Video Education Monitors, Consumers Credit Union’s Digital Billboards in Kalamazoo and Holland, and in all WWMT online Web and Weather Applications.
