Our team in Holland continues the fight against cancer in this year’s Relay for Life of Holland-Zeeland. The event takes place this coming weekend, June 14-15 at Holland Christian High School.

Consumers Credit Union has participated in Relay for Life events for many years, most recently sponsoring a team at last weekend’s Kalamazoo County Relay for Life. We are proud to continue the battle in our Holland community.

Chad Cunningham, Office Manager at our South Washington location, says, “We are excited to participate in Relay for Life in the Holland/Zeeland area this year! Relay for Life is a key partner of ours, and we appreciate the relationship we have been able to build with American Cancer Society. It is great to see our Consumers team donate their time and energy to give back to the community we live and work in.”

Twelve Consumers employees and their families make up the credit union’s team for this year’s Relay in Holland. Adds Chad, “We look forward to celebrating the lives of people who have battled cancer, remembering loved ones lost, and fighting back against the disease this coming Friday and Saturday.”

Relay for Life benefits the American Cancer Society, the nationwide community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to saving lives by eliminating cancer through research, education, advocacy, and service.
