Here in West Michigan, the leaves are beginning to turn colors, and the kids are back in school. Before we know it, the holidays will be here again. This is the time of year when we reflect on the accomplishments we’ve made since January and lay the groundwork to continue forward in the months to come. As we look ahead, I am grateful both for our dedicated team of employees and our members—our Consumers family.

As in any family, we understand that each member has his or her unique needs. This is why we are committed to providing you with the options necessary for you to bank your way. We’re here for you in our offices, on the phone, online, and via mobile.

This year, we’ve put a strong focus on the infrastructure and technology enhancements that make managing your money more convenient. Our popular Bill Pay service is now available on mobile banking, in addition to online. We’ve simplified the online mortgage application process, and made it more convenient to complete certain loan documents by secure email. I look forward to sharing the enhancements currently in development as they launch, including a new credit builder program for those looking to build or improve their credit.

One of the ways you can help us provide you with more efficient service is by signing up for eStatements. Not only will you receive your statement notification faster each month, you’ll also help us conserve the natural resources that paper delivery consumers. It only takes a moment to enroll online at ConsumersCU.org/eStatements.

Thank you for being part of our Consumers family. Your trust in the credit union is something we don’t take lightly. Please continue to talk with us about your experiences and your needs. We’re never more than a tweet, a phone call, or a short drive away.
