Team Taylor at the 2012 WAM300

Join us this coming Saturday, June 15, at the Tour de Taylor, a beautiful cycling tour through Southwest Michigan that’s fun for the whole family! All proceeds benefit the Make-a-Wish Foundation of Michigan. Whatever your cycling experience, you’ll have a great time riding the 12 mile, 31 mile, or 62 mile course and enjoy a catered lunch.

The Tour de Taylor marks the first of Team Taylor’s summer cycling events for the benefit of the Make-a-Wish Foundation.

In July, Team Taylor will bike the Wish-a-Mile 300 mile cycling tour (WAM300). The ride begins in Traverse City and ends, three days later, in Brooklyn, MI at the Michigan International Speedway, with stops along the way in Big Rapids and DeWitt.

Team Consumers after the 2012 WAM300

Consumers employees who are part of Team Taylor and will be cycling the WAM300 include Scott Dobson, John Marshall, Ron Martin, and Scott Sylvester. On June 26, these four members of “Team Consumers” will raise awareness for Make-a-Wish by riding to 10 Consumers offices in West Michigan, racking up around 75 miles round trip. In the event of adverse weather, the ride will take place on July 2.

Consumers is proud to support our staff as they cycle for a cause dear to our community. Since 2008, Team Taylor has granted the wishes of seven local children and their families and donated over $750,000 to the Make-a-Wish Foundation of Michigan—nearly enough for 90 Wish Trips!
