We’re pleased to announce our winners! Live from WMU: Consumers Credit Union and Adams Outdoor Partner to Stream Bronco Bash Fun onto Digital Billboards


Consumers Credit Union has partnered with Adams Outdoor to stream live photos from Western Michigan University’s Bronco Bash onto digital billboards throughout the Kalamazoo area. Each year, the Western Michigan University and Kalamazoo communities come together to welcome students back to campus during Bronco Bash. The annual event takes place this Friday, September 13 from 3 to 7 pm. Jennifer Knapp, Events and Education Coordinator at Consumers Credit Union says, “Consumers looks forward to participating in Bronco Bash each year. It’s fun to get to know the students and welcome the freshmen to Kalamazoo. As in past years, Consumers will be bringing its Cash Car to the event. All who enter the Cash Car have the opportunity to leave a winner by answering financial trivia questions for prizes and surprises. Take the First Step to a World Without Alzheimer’s

Consumers Credit Union has participated in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s since 2006. We are once again a proud sponsor of this year’s event, where a team of 20 employees will walk for a shared vision of a world without Alzheimer’s. Micki Florinchi, Robyn Thatcher, and Katie Warren lead the team from Consumers. “I learned about the Walk to End Alzheimer’s shortly after my mother was diagnosed with the disease,” says Robyn. “That was the first year we formed a team, and it’s been growing ever since.” The Consumers team has committed to raising $5,000 for the cause. Funds raised go towards eliminating Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research, providing and enhancing care and support for those affected by the devastating disease, and to reducing the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
